Hello loves! I thought I would write a cheeky little post about our weekend away visiting my Grandma in Brixham... If you haven't been to brixham before, its a gorgeous little town by the sea and is a really cute holiday destination for a lot of families (it can get very busy at its peak). We headed over there at the end of August, Friday to Monday and here are the different things we did while we were there!

On the first day we set off pretty early, meaning 6am! I am pretty good at coping with early mornings usually as I used to get up earlier than that for work, but I spent the whole day tired! Of course we stopped off for a Starbucks on the way (I had an iced tea which was wonderful), but when we got there we checked into our B&B and headed out for the day.
If you are into pastels then this is the town for you, every house is painted a different colour, and is a pastel lovers dream. Of course we took this opportunity to take loads of cute photos, like anyone would do really! At the end of this street in the picture above, there is the most gorgeous crystal shop (the blue building) and if you are into crystals, you NEED to go and have a look for yourself as its soo pretty, and the prices of her smaller crystals aren't bad.

After a long while of walking around aimlessly and eating ice cream we headed down to the cute little pebble beach and had a well needed slush puppy. Again if you haven't been to brixham, their beach if just the cutest. I am a huge hater of sand so this is the ideal beach for me and anyone else with a giant hatred for that stuff!
We had a very chilled evening and just decided to of course have fish and chips for dinner because who doesn't go to the sea side and have chips at least three times over a few days. I went for chips and a battered sausage with curry sauce and mayo (kind of weird but my personal fave).

We spent the Saturday in Torquay. We went over on the boat which they have from Brixham which was really nice in itself! It almost like a sea taxi, they give you a funny commentary on the way and tell you all about Torquey, and what it has to offer. It was all of £3 per person, so around the same price as getting the bus!

There are a few cute shops but I actually didnt buy anything which is amazing for me, if you know me, you will know that I am a huge shopping addict, so this is very good for me not to buy anything. But Jason, my partner did buy the nicest Adidas jacket from one of the shops in the main section, which was full of branded cheap clothing.
We went on their giant Ferris wheel, which was so nice! It was expensive but you go around twice and it was very peaceful! Well after we had to try and get rid of the awful commentary they try and give you, if you go on it, dont press any of the buttons and then you wouldn't have to listen to random people if you just want to go on there for the views.

On the Sunday me and Jason decided that we wanted some time to ourselves, so we went off and did a little photoshoot in a few of the spots that we had found on the Friday. I have an obsession for taking photos for my instagram page, so if you want so see more photos and updates, head over and follow me on there; woofenenxo. We also decided to sit in Costa for bit as the wifi at our B&B wasn't the best! I had the nicest drink while we were sitting in there, I believe it was one of their new ones, watermelon and coconut cooler. I recommend it, it is very nice. I don't know how long they will have it though!

We did bit of editing in there, as I really wanted to edit the pictures we had taken and also a secret project I am doing! and then met up with my parents again. Then headed to get a traditional pasties, it was very expensive but definitely the best pastie I have never had! I went for chicken and veg, yum. P.S. this is Jasons new jacket!
And that concluded our time in Brixham, on Sunday night we decided to head home early, instead of leaving on the Monday morning and getting stuck in traffic... even though we got stuck in traffic anyway! But it was lovely weekend away and I sure do miss the sunny weather.
Anyway, thank-you for reading this blog post and I will speak to you in my next one!
